Hunter Mountain Event Volunteer Program

Hunter Mountain is host to many high level USSA and FIS Races. We have a reputation for putting on quality events that receive compliments from athletes, parents, coaches and alpine officials. None of this would be possible without our army of dedicated volunteers.

There are positions available for skiers and non-skiers. No Experience is necessary.

There are three levels of volunteers:
# Level I - First year / less experienced # Level 2 - Have worked a minimum of 8 of our races over the past 3 years # Level 3 - Have worked all of the previous season's USSA/FIS races, and a day of officials clinic, or you are an experienced level II Alpine Official

Compensation is as follows in the form of vouchers:
# For working a weekend day - one transferable lift ticket voucher for level 1, two vouchers for levels 2 and 3.
# For working a midweek day - two lift ticket vouchers for level 1, three vouchers for levels 2 and 3.
# For working morning registration - half of the all-day ticket rate.
# Two group lessons can be substituted for one lift ticket voucher.

Vouchers earned are valid for the current ski season only.

USSA officials and level 3 volunteers will be considered first for advancing to some of the more involved positions.
